TRAVEL INFORMATION

The Gathering Place

The Island of Oahu, also known as the “Gathering Place” is the third largest island, housing approximately two-thirds of the state population and is home of the state capitol Honolulu – an international metropolis where busy city streets align with sandy shores. Waikiki located in the heart of the city was once the retreat for Hawaiian royalty.

VENUE

The 1.1 million-square-foot Hawaii Convention Center provides organizations from around the globe with a setting that is distinctly Hawaii in style while being spacious, modern, and flexible.

The Center’s striking open-air design of public spaces, abundance of natural light and lush landscaping provide a meetings backdrop unlike anywhere else in the world, and Hawaii Convention Center’s on-site F&B kitchen produces delectable Hawaii-inspired dishes that elevate dining from “conventional” to exceptional.

The Hawaii Convention Center fronts Kalakaua Avenue, the boulevard anchoring Honolulu’s shopping, dining and entertainment scene. It’s adjacent to Waikiki, Oahu’s iconic resort area with 30,000 hotel rooms and a divine, crescent-shaped beach. In the other direction is the capital city’s downtown area and some of Hawaii’s top attractions.

AIRPORT

The Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL). It is a  mere eight-mile drive from the Convention Center.

Certain international travelers may be eligible to travel to the United States without a visa if they meet the requirements for visa-free travel. The Visa section of this website is all about U.S. visas for foreign citizens to travel to the United States.
